Snorkeling is Better With a Casio Watch

If you love to look underwater but you're apprehensive about scuba diving, snorkeling is a great way to see a reef and its residents. A great place to go snorkeling for the first time is the Florida Keys.

The Florida Keys have great weather almost all year round and the reefs are bright and abundant with wildlife. You'll want a watch that can with stand water and has some extra features that will make your snorkeling even more enjoyable. Casio has designed a watch that is geared towards marine sports in the Casio Sea Pathfinder SPF70-2V.

This watch has three built in sensors that constantly monitor direction, barometric pressure, temperature and underwater depth. The Casio SPF70-2V Digital wristwatch is also shock resistant and water resistant up to 100 meters. It also looks great in or out of the water with the blue design of this watch and it has a sturdy resin band.

There is a rotating bezel so you can keep track of your time in the water easily and the auto electro-luminescent backlight makes this watch easy to read no matter what the lighting conditions.

The Florida Keys have a myriad of cool sights that are easily seen from a snorkeler's vantage point such as the Key Largo National Marine Sanctuary stands which is built over Carysfort Reef. This area doesn't get a huge amount of snorkelers or divers so you will find the corals and marine life very much intact and unspoiled by human contact. Moray Eel and Barracuda are very populous in these waters and snorkelers and divers have found out the hard way for years that the Barracuda will strike anything shiny in the water. A Barracuda bite is a nasty lesson to learn and not one you'll have to learn personally as this Casio watch has been designed to blend with the water when you snorkel this area. If you're looking for a great look and a durable watch for snorkeling, the Casio Sea Pathfinder SPF70-2V is the watch for you!
