Caution Before You Buy a Replica Watch
You've probably gotten dozens of emails and seen a good number of pop-up ads advertising replica watches.
You can get a Seiko, Citizen, Paul Frank or other name brand watch and the claim is that they "look" as good as the real thing. What you're buying is basically a knock-off watch that is made from substandard materials and the cheapest parts available. Since you're buying a watch that will have virtually no longevity as a timepiece, replica watches really aren't that great of a deal.
Furthermore, some watches are safety hazards. Replica watches made for children can contain lead parts and replica watches made for both children and adults can contain watch crystals that will shatter during play and many replica watches will simply stop working when exposed to shocks from running, jumping and other activities the watch wearer may engage in.
Another reason to pass on the purchase of a replica watch is there is generally a very little to no warranty. If you purchase a replica watch and it stops working, the likelihood of the company fixing or replacing your broken timepiece is fairly remote. Even companies that sell name brand watches can't pass on the manufacture's warranty unless they are authorized resellers such as Watches Giant. Make sure the watch you purchase is a name brand and comes with a manufacturer's warranty.
When you purchase a name brand such as Casio or Timex from an authorized reseller, you are getting a well-made timepiece that is built to last and handle all the activities you enjoy. Watches Giant has been selling sports watches since 1987 and is an authorized reseller for every single watch brand they carry. Don't fall for the hype about replica watches; they aren't all they are cracked up to be. Stick to the name brands you know and make sure you always buy from an authorized reseller.
