Kinetic Watches - No Battery, No Winding, Just Accurate Time
If you are the type of person who likes to have fascinating accessories then perhaps a
kinetic watch would interest you. Kinetic watches are different in that the body of the wearer powers them. This is an interesting and intriguing idea for many people and makes owning a kinetic watch a lot of fun. The thought that a piece of equipment is running by converting the magnetic charge of your body into electricity is wild!
Seiko watches are the front line for kinetic watches. Seiko was the first company to come out with this type of watch and the Seiko name is a brand you can trust to provide excellent quality watches. The way that the kinetic watch works is that they use the wearer's movement for power; however, the power is transferred by way of an oscillating or spinning weight. This weight is spinning extremely fast and the magnetic charge is turned into electricity to power the watch. The kinetic watches also have an energy storage unit so that the watch will continue to run even when the wearer does not have it on. The kinetic watch can sometimes run for months on its energy storage.
There are many types of kinetic watches on the market but Seiko is the original for this type of technology and currently offers over 21 different styles ranging from small and sassy to classically elegant designs. Kinetic watches are very accurate as well. If you are looking for a quality kinetic watch with a variety of styles to choose from then consider Seiko. Once you try a kinetic watch the chances are very good that you will be so pleased you will never go back to the battery powered wristwatch styles again.

Titanium Watches - Lightweight Style
Titanium is the strong, low-density, corrosion-resistant metal that is used in manufacturing jet planes, airliners and spacecraft. Titanium occurs as a glossy white element and its use in making fine watches was a remarkable, forward-thinking step into the future. Titanium is very strong and yet very lightweight.
After the durability of titanium was proven for the use in watchbands, many of the major watch manufacturers began offering titanium watches. Seiko, Citizen and Pulsar are just a few of the makers of watches that feature titanium designs.
The
Citizen Chronograph Titanium Aqualand Watch is an outstanding example of the beauty and function that can be placed in a titanium watch. This strong watch features a solid titanium watchcase and will recharge itself in sunlight or indoors. This watch can also tell you how deep you are diving up to 125-feet. It can display time in either 12 hour or 24 hour formats and it has a convenient date window located at the three o'clock position on the watch face for easy viewing. Unlike many diving watches of a comparable make, the Citizen Titanium Aqualand is lighter than most and just as strong due to its intelligent solid titanium design.
This watch is water resistant to 200 meters (666 feet) and comes with a 5 Year Original Citizen's U.S. Warranty that is unaffected by purchasing your watch through Watches Giant as they are an authorized dealer for the Citizen company and your full manufacturer's warrant will remain in effect.

What is an Atomic Watch?
The most common misconception of an atomic watch is that they are somehow nuclear powered. An atomic watch is however one of the most precise timekeepers you can get for your wrist. The way this is done is your atomic watch periodically receives time information from the Atomic Cesium Clock in Colorado, which is accurate to within one second every million years. This signal is usually sent at night because cell phones and other airborne transmissions pollute the airwaves less.
The watch can receive the signals because it has an internal antenna to receive the cesium signal and a program to decode it. You never need to set the time or date on an atomic watch, nor do you have to adjust an atomic watch for daylight savings time. Until atomic watches come with GPS (Global Positioning), you will only need to adjust your watch when traveling from one time zone to another and even this isn't difficult, simply tell your watch to synchronize itself and it will communicate with the Cesium Clock and do so.
Casio has an outstanding line of atomic watches and not only do they keep perfect time, they come with a lot of bells and whistles that you will find useful.
The G-Shock atomic watch not only keeps perfect time, it collects energy from sunlight (or bright room light) so you never have to wind it or replace its battery. The G-Shock atomic watch can display time in twelve or twenty-four hour format. It comes with a stopwatch, five daily alarms, a thirty-city world clock, and automatic calendar. It is also waterproof to 200 meters.
If you're looking for your next watch and keeping absolutely perfect time is a priority for you, an atomic watch will fit the bill.
