Watches : A Great Teaching Tool
A watch is a great way for your child to learn responsibility as well as how to tell time in both a 12 hour and digital 24 hour format.
It is a good way for children to learn to be responsible about their own schedules too. If you tell your child to be home by 6PM for dinner then they can use their very own watch to keep track of the time when they are out playing or over at the house of a friend and still be home on time. Being in charge of their own schedules will give your child self-confidence and a feeling of independence.
You also want to make sure that you always buy a name brand watch for your children. A replica watch may look the same but in all likelihood won't be made to meet the safety standard for watches manufactured for children in the United States. These watches should have shatterproof crystals and no sharp edges. Also when you purchase a watch from an authorized deal, the dealer can extend the warranty on the watch so if there's a problem while the watch is under warranty, you're fully protected. Both
Casio and Timex make outstanding watches for children in a myriad of styles.
Children can be rough on watches; make sure you get your child a watch that can absorb the shocks that will happen from the average child's rough and tumble play. A watch you get for your child should be able to withstand the occasional forgetfulness about wearing the watch in the pool or shower and is easy to set the time and read. Another feature a lot of watches for children have is an alarm which many kids enjoy setting for various times such as the time to get up for school, bed time or time for a favorite television show.
Give your child the gift of independence and responsibility, get them their very first watch!

Paul Frank - New Kid on the Block
Paul Frank wasn't making watches 10 years ago; he was making custom wallets in Huntington Beach, California in order to promote his band. The wallets were made from scrap vinyl and hand stenciled upon each one was a one of a kind functional work of art.
By 1997 Paul Frank Watches Industries was in full swing and they were making their mark with their quirky and whimsical designs. Julius the monkey is their figurehead and is found on many of their products from watches to clothing to wall clocks. His designs are bright and whimsical and his watches have been spotted on more than one celebrity's wrist. They are the perfect accessories to wear with jeans or other casual attire and if you're looking for a fun accessory for a sundress, put a Paul Frank Watch on your wrist.
Paul puts out new lines of watches on a frequent basis keeping the line not only affordable so you can own several to literally match all your casual outfits but also to keep the line of watches fresh. The majority of Paul Frank watches have leather bands, stainless steel casings and shatterproof crystals.
There is only one digital watch in the entire line currently and it is a
combination calculator and digital watch which would be perfect for a student or anyone that needs to add numbers on the go. If you want a fun and functional watch as a gift or just a little something special for yourself, indulge in the affordable fun of a Paul Frank watch.

Casual Watches for Women
When putting together a casual look, your choice in a watch can really make an outfit look complete.
If you're looking for a watch to match your casual outfits, consider the colors and fabrics that you wear the most. Blue jeans, casual khaki shorts or pants, twills or whatever you like best. If you find yourself in jeans and denim skirts more often than not, go for a watch with either a blue plastic band or a silver band and accents. Either will look outstanding with denim no matter if you like it light or dark.
Find yourself wearing a lot of bright colors? Go for some of the bright leather or plastic bands in primary colors such as found in a Paul Frank watch. The Paul Frank
"Janet" line of watches comes in some super primary and secondary colors and has a fun and whimsical design. They will compliment any bright outfit.
If your casual attire leans towards wearing lots of white or very light colors; metallic bands will really look sharp on your wrist. Either gold or silver tones, whichever you like the best. If you can't decide which to go with, several of the watch manufacturers make watchbands with both silver and gold accents on the bands and watch faces. Another option that looks nice are some of the icy light blue bands available in both men's and women's watches. This cool blue looks great when paired with summer whites or other light colors.
No matter what your personal style preferences are, you can find a watch to compliment your casual attire.

Dressing up - Accessorize with a New Watch
Once you have your hair done up just right, your favorite little black dress on, the perfect pair of shoes to go dance the night away and along with your hoop earrings and drop necklace, you can use a watch on your wrist.
You can make any fashion statement you want with a watch. You can go for a big and chunky look, sleek and sexy, understated with a bit of flash, high-tech and digital or a watch that is just uniquely "you".
Depending on your preferences you can also choose a watch that is spring driven and needs to be wound on a regular basis, the convenience of a battery powered watch or the wise design of a kinetic watch that is actually powered from your movements. Go for the glamour of gold, the shine of silver or the eclectic look of a watch that features both looks. A diamond bezel around a lightly colored watch face will set off the subtle sparkle that only diamonds have.
When you're making the purchase of your next watch, make sure the company you purchase it from is an authorized dealer for the watch brands they sell. Replica watches generally come with little to no warranties and if you buy even a name brand watch from a dealer that hasn't been authorized to resell for that particular name brand, your warranty will most likely not be any good. When you buy your watch from an authorized dealer the manufacturer's original warranty remains in effect, protecting your purchase.
Accessorize your next night out with the subtle highlights a watch can add and show your individual style, all the way to your wrist!

Dive a Little Deeper with Citizen
If you love to dive; you know the value a good watch. Most dive watches are created for the avid sport diver that means they are water resistant to roughly 35 feet below the surface of the water. Citizen has made a diving watch that is one of the best you can get.
This watch has a lot of bells and whistles that the diving fanatic will find very functional such as the wet suit strap extension; the crown is placed at that 9:00 position to allow for more freedom of wrist movement. The crystal is a 6mm thick and also scratch resistant. The one way rotating bezel makes timing your deco (decompression) stops really easy to time and the helium escape bezel is very handy when you are ascending from greater depths. The construction of this watch will allow it to withstand the pressures of up to 1000 meters below the surface. When you consider every 14-feet underwater is a whole new atmosphere of pressure, this titanium constructed watch is not only lightweight but it is built to handle the extreme pressures of deep diving.
Previously, getting your watch battery replaced in a diving watch was a real pain, as you either had to take it to an authorized repair center or send it in to the manufacturer so they could change the battery and repressurize the watch to withstand the pressures underwater.
The
Citizen Promaster is designed to have a self-winding automatic movement so there is never a battery replacement required for this watch. If you're looking for a sturdy diving watch to go everywhere you go, take a Citizen Promaster along on your next underwater excursion.
